How fees work
Insurance we work with
We bill Medicare for manual spinal manipulation, and we bill many other health plans. Call with your plan's name and we will tell you what we bill. A plan may not pay for every visit or service.
Medicare, for manual spinal manipulation only
Many private plans, including most PPO plans
Medicare Advantage plans, which have their own rules
If you pay yourself
If you do not use insurance, the doctor tells you the cost of care before it begins, in writing if you ask. You pay at the front desk after your visit.
Receipts for reimbursement
Ask for an itemized receipt (a superbill) at any visit. You can send it to your plan. The plan decides whether it reimburses any of it.
An estimate in advance
If you do not use insurance, you have the right to a Good Faith Estimate. Ask us, and we give you a written estimate before the visit.
Checking your benefits
Call the number on your card before your first visit and ask about chiropractic care. We are glad to help you with the questions to ask, and with your permission your son or daughter can call for you.
What the first visit includes
A talk, an exam and a plan explained in plain words. X-rays are taken only when medically necessary, and we tell you the cost first.
